At least three persons were killed and 16 others injured on Thursday in
a bomb blast in Quetta’s satellite town area in southwest Pakistan.
Buildings near the blast site were damaged as a result
of the explosion which was targeted at a vehicle of the Frontier Corps.
Emergency and security teams reached the site of blast.
The victims, which included FC personnel, were shifted to Quetta’s Civil Hospital where an emergency had been declared.
Meanwhile, an explosion in Balochistan’s Pak-Afghan border town of Chaman injured two persons.
Rescue and security teams reached the blast site
situated near Eidgah Chowk in the city. Several cars were damaged in
the explosion. The victims were shifted to the Civil Hospital in the
city for medical treatment.
Three synchronised explosions in Quetta on Wednesday left two persons dead and six others injured.
